Hey Everyone!

Hey all, this is Jackie Foreman Tyka's web designer, friend, etc., etc. Just spoke with her and she is HARD at work editing and re-writing her memoir. It is going to be incredible when it is finished so stay tuned for more info. Tyka will be back to blogging at least 1-2 times a month when she is finished with this project. She is also making NEW MUSIC!! YES!! So look for a new CD to drop on May 18th, 2010...that is the date we are aiming for. She will also be atteneding the Gospel Music Association event in April 2010 and will have a booth there in Nashville so come on out and join us and say "Hi!" Tyka loves meeting new people and her new CD will be there for pre-sale so you will have it before anyone else. How cool is that?

I am revamping the whole website this weekend adding pics, updates, changing interviews and youtube videos, etc. so look for the new site Sunday night or Monday morning. Blessing to all of you and Tyka sends you all much love. Jackie

Out With The Old...

I'm going to try a different format regarding my Blog. I was moved to do this after reading a story I had read many years ago, and recently found again. I have written short stories and poems for years and I felt because I received so much joy from reading this man's stories I would share mine. Stories and poetry can sometime be very personal and for this reason I have never really wanted to share mine. But at the same time they can give insight into ones inner most thoughts, give joy, inspire and light the path for others to find their way leading to the creative spirit that is within us all

P.S. Someone recently wrote that he didn't feel I could have written & produced my recent CD A Brand New Me - saying, "Who is she kidding?"

On one hand this was funny to me because he met me and didn't have the nerve to say this to my face.

On the other hand he was right; I really don't' write my own music or words, I pray and then what you and I hear is what comes out, so in a sense he is right.

I believe God writes through me and then we get to enJOY what he creates. So Dear Mr. Critic, perhaps you should get to know the Creator for yourself so he can use you to write things that you don't come up with either!

Weekend Prayer

Hey All, I had a great time at Hazelden. Everyone seemed to REALLY like the talk. It was a new experience but it was wonderful to share my journey and give back. Looking forward to doing more of them around the world in the future so look for me to come to your town soon. Also Jackie was in the MinneApple for the first time. She is terrific-Giving and kind, not enough words to express how sweet she is, and little. I could have picked her up and kept her in a box on my desk lol. Working hard on the book edits trying to make it a best seller so look for it again soon. Praying ALL of you have a Wonderful Weekend - Enjoy the weather before the snow hit and STAY Blessed - Much JOY Always!!!
